Rants: Comparing airlines

Sometimes I think some of my friends are very naive or lack of common knowledge. Not like I'm full of knowledge but at least I have more common sense than a retarded person.

Like the recent case I experienced is about comparing airlines;
I took Cathay to Hong Kong and the air fares was RM810 in total and some people even got the nerves to say it is expensive comparing to Air Asia, and they got lower price with AA and blah.
I was like wtf? Seriously?
I responded saying / or rather defending because I was obviously offended, by saying Cathay is NOT a budget airline.
And people still can say me being a person that 'see grape but couldn't get so I say the grape sour'.
*Double offended*
Excusez-moi!? AA and CP is a two airline with two different approach; one obviously the budget airline and another is a full-service airline.

Are you guys retarded enough to compare a 1 star hotel to a 3 star hotel?
It's like mocking the residents of 3 star hotel is paying more than 1 star hotel.
Or you want to compare Firefly with Korean airline?
Or eat the RM1.90 salmon sushi at Sakae while laughing at the people who paid RM20 salmon sushi in Iketeru Hilton KL?

Can I smack some common sense and knowledge in your head ah?
Comparing a RM200 budget airline and a RM800 full service passenger airline, and judge is worth or not sometimes is plain stupid. *some more wanna mock me*
Why these people does not realized, aware and analyse before judging?

I feel frustrated when my friends started hurling sarcastic imprecations at me (or my actions/decision) and worse - when they don't have the knowledge to judge by the ordinary standards.

Okay, maybe they have the knowledge but they solely want to offend me but hurling tactless remarks, so that's all? I hope you are happy that you made me unhappy towards you.

Liese Bubble Hair Color: Platinum Beige

Finally brought the colour I wanted in Hong Kong! and only cost HK$69.90 which means I saved RM10 if I buy in M'sia (RM38 retail price). But hey, this colour is still not available in M'sia yet thou~

I won't be starting with the introduction of the product, coz seems that it's already well known of bubble hair dye and I'm too lazy to do so, haha.

So below are the stuff provided along with the product. Solution 1 & 2, gloves, pump and also after-dye leave on conditioner (not in the picture thou), anyways those are the basic stuff you will get for any brand of hair dye too.

Below is the picture of me kaw-tao to you all~

Front and side, before dye and with no flash (forgot to take with flash but anyways, my hair natural colour was dark brown~)

So here's another kaw-tao photo with the hair dye/bubbles

I decide to leave it for 30mins since the last time I dyed my hair was like 10 years ago and I'm unsure if my hair absorb the dye good enough or not (but turns out my hair was like a sponge, thus 'over-coloured')

After 30 mins I washed off the bubbles and wash my hair with shampoo twice and also used my rinse-off condition. So this is what my hair looks like when it's wet *hantu hantu*

And when my hair is dry and without flash (room is abit dark then becoz it started raining)

And with flash, can see a distinct beige colour~ with.... slightly hint of ash... which can only be seen after staring for 10 secs and with forced delusion

The colour was evenly spread inside out, but then it somehow seems brighter at the top, maybe it's becoz of the lights that hit directly on top of the head. As I took the end of my hair to the top of my head, the colour looks the same~

And oh, I ter-dyed my table also, was bending down to look at the instruction and the foam dripped from my gloves T_T
I was like oh sheeeeet oh sheeeeeeeettttt *get tissue and wipe* but still abit too late, haha.

So question from friends and my answers are;

Did the colour came out as expected?
Er yes the beige colour but not the ash colour (so not significant T_T). But it was already expected that shades might differ according to individuals.
Under sunlight it looked like light golden beige =.=" I think I over-dyed, should wash off the foam after 20mins instead of 30.

Brightness?
Very very obvious beige colour under sunlight or flash, but I can still see the colour under normal lights.
If I walk under sunlight I feel like a 24k gold walking~ *bling bling shinny shinny*

Easy to apply?
Yes it very easy and the foam is very thick so you can play around with your hair, making into different shapes/style for 20-30mins (I did the heart shape, mickey mouse ears and also punk hairstyle lol)

Experience and verdicts;

The dye doesn't hold on to the skin and it's easily washed off after staying on my ear for 30mins haha.
It doesn't stink too much but it does smells - like ammonia and red wine. And the foam will sting my eyes when it's too near to my eyes.
Surprisingly I don't experience any headache after the dye and also my hair was so soft and silky after dye. As there are many reviews about this product drying up the hair but absolutely not for my case.
Worth or not? I would say so-so and maybe slightly above average, but one thing for sure, that is, if you are serious about dyeing your hair and wish to get the exact colour you are expecting, then it is advisable NOT to try this product haha. If you are dyeing for fun, yes yes 100% recommended.

Shit, I’m so gonna start of this post with “It’s been a while since I wrote anything here” haha.

But yea, it’s been a while since and quite a number of events happened. Stuffs like – getting new housemates and recently I have to ‘kind of’ force them to move out because of… oh well long story, lol.

And I got into a small argument with a ‘I thought good friend of mine’, which ended up a big deal – because he started slamming and insulting me to defend himself. So oh well, I am always ready to lose a friend who doesn’t know how to respect.

Rather than asking one person who thinks highly of himself to join my social life. I might as well get rid of scum than adding shits in my life.

For the good news? My parents came by KL 2 weeks ago, I paid for their hotel and meals and burnt RM400 in my pocket……. Good news for the ones who wants to see me being poor, bwaaaa T_T

Weather nowadays has been extremely unpredictable, sometimes really hot/humid sometimes really cooling. Thanks to this I have developed heat rashes, again! And apparently worse than last time, pui T_T

Oh yea, I lived up my 1 year travel overseas dream – because I am going to HONG KONG & MACAU this year!! Weeeee!

After a series of schedule planning, flight bookings and making decision in accommodations and a minor bummer incident, my dream came true! November is the month! Muaaaaa…. HK FOOD!

p.s:- Anyone been there before? HK and Macau, any travel tips or food recommendations? :P

Oh oh, I also received good news from friends, friend who is engaged, friends who got oversea’s PR~ friends who got offered a job in other county, friends who got accepted into Master program in Australia. Congratulations!

I was telling these friends of mine who are starting a new life in other countries respectively. “Must keep in touch ya! When I go to X country travel, please lend me your room for me to sleep so I can save accommodation spending!” lol.

p.p.s:- Oh, for those who tried to be sarcastic on me being 'too rich' for travelling - I don't dream to live, I yearn to live. Stop pulling on people's leg when you are not even close to your unrealistic dreams, as it will only reflect that, you are nothing but a sore loser.

One piece skirt

McDonald’s GCB (Grill Chicken Burger)

Was tempted to try GCB upon seeing the flyer ads in TheStar newspaper this morning and decide to try this.
Although I heard numerous feedback on how 'meh' is the burger *haha*
It leads me more curious to try out how unworthy is the burger like everyone else said, and also for the sake of novelty.

This is what it looks like in the ads

And this is what is looks like in real life *woot*
The burger lives up on the 'so not worthy' statement.
See the pathetic size of the burger, it's 2 times smaller than my face!

Despite the disfigured looks of the burger, lol, *macam kena run over by lorry kut*

the chicken is slightly dry (but still tender) and it's not really fresh but well marinated. The mayo is 'meh'.

And oh, the chicken is not as thick as shown in adverts :P

Probably only half of the thickness, haha.

If you were to ask me what I like the most of the burger, I would say.... the soft and warm bun :P

For the RM12.50 (regular single set, including tax) I paid for this set (with fries and coke),

I felt the taste and portion it's not worth up to the amount I paid for.

I could probably enjoy a superb Ramly burger at the roadside, with egg and cheese :P

Err... I rephrase - TWO superb Ramly burgerS, with 1 canned coke without McD fries :P

Verdict: Nice to try, but wallet will run dry, so no second time~

A lot of people couldn't figure out why I am emotionally detached to my family.

1 of my many reasons is;

Yesterday my dad was in KL, I didn't know coz he did not tell me before he is planning to come KL for his Annual G party meeting.

Was having dinner with my uni friends at TCM's Vivo American Pizza & Panini.
We ordered set items so we could get free mushroom soups.
Upon serving and Sotong took a sip and went:

Another Love of my life

Recently found another addiction to be added my list of '101 items to have in order to survive'.
I now present you the Rose iced Latte from Winter Warmers :P

I'm usually not a latte fan because I love strong coffee, but the rose syrup over shadows the usual latte kind of strong milky taste, and the coffee inside is slightly robust actually.
So when it's in my mouth, I have a bit of the bitterness of the coffee, and the after taste leaves an appropriate sweetness of my liking from the rose syrup~

Guess I will pop by Winter Warmers any time soon :)

Few days ago I was chatting with this guy friend, W.

I was ranting because apparently another guy friend he knew, T, went out with me and got a bit 'touchy'.

I told W what T have done and to my horror W's response was:

W: Aiya, he is just being horny (well, yes it was true)

and he continued: ....he touches you means you untung (gain) lor, still want to complain.....

W.T.F. ewwww!!!

Seriously.... what kind of mentality is that, if a guys touches me means I should be happy?!?!

What he said have portrayed his despicable personality for being senseless and uneducated.

I was so furious and condemned his notion.
Being berated by me, he express that he was just joking - hell yeah, obviously he never used his brain before he speaks too, so much for being an uneducated fathead.
Sum of the society.

My Brunch

Trying to live my life healthier nowadays, so I deicide to adjust my diet and prepare home made lunch.
Although still going out for dinner, and taking daily coffee dose :P

Hopefully by doing so, I can gradually improve my diet and detox a bit XD
So.... jeng jeng jennnngg, lo and behold~~

My homemade Salmon sandwich!

Ingredients are - Norwegian Salmon, Romanian lettuce, Tomato and Alpine gain's bread!
No oil no salt no sugar! So wtfhealthysauce, muahaha~
But I added a hint of balsamic vinegar to give subtle and sourly taste.

P.S. Warning: Content above might cause nausea, eye pain (because of the healthy green stimulus) and discomfort to carnivores ....

Changing blog layout again

And I just found out new default blog designs by Blogger and so tempted to try on them,
because they finally look really nice.^^

Will try on few layout for the moment and decide by tomorrow.
Hopefully my 1 month holiday can heat up my long lost passion in writing (and also taking photos),
and get new inspirations :P

And oh, for those who are not aware, I am finally got out of N hell and currently jobless.
But I manage to secure a new job (starting Aug) at pocket burning Mon't Kiara, KL as a Brand Analyst ^.^/

Wasted 3 hours to watch a crappy fashion show in 1U, models bumping into each other and walking the wrong lane, lol. But it was really nice when they blew glistening confetti at the end of the show :)

Last but not least, did my once in a blue moon retail therapy session, and brought a new baby!

I bet all my friends knew about how glutton I am because I always ask for food, especially nice ones.
I will always get more (if possible) if the food is nice~
但是如果我觉得难吃的话，我就会当场吐出来（当然会给脸啦~，have to ask before spiting out, haha!)

前几天，某某人做了蛋糕，很特别，还蛮好吃的。我当然不例外的 - 在讨多一片。。。

You'd know that I haven't lived my life, in fact I started screwing up since :-(

I haven't got any chance to meet up a lot of my friends.

Don't understand at all with these people.
I know Japan is great and everything blah, bread is superb *i would die for it too!*, transport system better than Malaysia. Anime/cartoon is too wayyyyyy better than Malaysia. Their language is interesting too!

But is Chinese blood that cheap? or Japanese blood higher class? It's the same you know, we are still humans.

People can learn languages and different cultures around the world because we have different interest in cultures.

But if you are so 'deep in love' with Japanese when you are Chinese *referring to someone*

I just realized I have only 2 post regarding job searching, here and here. Sometimes I wonder why if it's so hard to get a job for freshies. If a person thinks there is no job out there, I will assume he/she is not aware of www.jobstreet.com.my, lol.
But if he/she tried applying 50 positions and attended 50 interviews and failed all 50 interviews..... that's so retarded.
Received news of my primary school tutor passed away of cancer, the last time seeing her was last year in hospital *sigh, life*
Decided not to go Kuantan for fieldwork, but stay in main office PJ to backup the team. Actually quite lazy to go also la XD
Auntie continue ki siao torturing me. I bet she hates me because I'm younger than her *kidding*
Planning/thinking to sign up for Hokkaido 8 days homestay!!!
Yesh, I'm rich, I worked my ass of outside my hometown in this city and slept only 5 hours/day for 1 month.
I definitely deserve a trip for myself (especially i'm paying 100%), more than other lazy-directionless-don't-want-to-work-too-hard bastards. Muahahaha.
And no Ah Tu, not buying you a Doremon doll.

My first job

Been longed to post a blog update about myself, but I was soooo lazy *pardon me* haha.

I got passed my 2nd job interview and got a position of market researcher in the company I've been dreaming about..... and that was 1 month ago, haha.

So I've been working for a month in PJ. Life isn't that bad, in fact it was great. I got my dream job and company, and also a really great ~~and cheap~~ place/room to stay at XD

Yes, note the 'was', haha

That was the point where my luck runs out, probably semua habis used through out the process of applying/getting the job and a fabulous place to stay :P

As such, I got a admin/operation 55yo auntie in my department, who most of the employees hate. Literally 'torturing' me and screwing my happiness every single second during working hours. All the screaming and scolding, huhu.

I know she's experienced and I really do respect her despite her bad temper, and I really wanna learn from her. But as days gone by, I feel that she never respect a rookie like me (and other colleagues who have lower or same job position) as a human.

She treated people worse than a plant and when a angmo director came by, she smiles to him like a flower blossom in the spring. Later when the angmo director left, she revert back to her normal self and started 'showing face'. So ironic, lol.

Luckily my boss is a really nice person *phew* I really like the way he communicates with people and down to earth personality.

And then alot of things happened, like getting threaten by previous uni tutor and err... friendship issue (luckily no hard feelings from this good friend, but lesson is learnt from my side, I should be more sensitive and rational).

Also, not to mention the workload I have now, because there's lack of manpower. I have been working from 8AM til 11PM or

even 12AM, every day even on weekends (but at home for weekends la). Lagi kesian my boss because he have much more work to do than me, haha. Sometimes I feel so bad why I couldn't learn things faster to assist him.

Until my team hires more researcher (which is within 2months time), I have to embrace a 'work-work no balance' life, instead of work-life balanced life.

ANYWAYS, I need to continue my work (yea, I'm still working from home on Raya day). I hope things will be getting better soon, because all these issues challenged my passion towards this industry. So lets see how determine I am in my career, haha.

P.S. I will try to get time to blog about something which have been mingling in my mind for quite sometime....

1 week plus without internet *literally*
and I'm barely surviving, haha.

Last week was my convo day, thank u meekuu and pastor for MSN-ing, Ah Tu for sms-ing to wish and congrats me.
Most appreciated is surely for Peifen, WeiJye, KahHin, AhKong, Kai Tee and Bakut,
who they have personally came over to my convo ~~after persistently annoyed by Panda~~ *lol*
But seriously, thank you so much for coming, I know how hot the day is :P
Thank u WeiJye and Peifen for buying me flowers too, haha.

My brother is having exam now so the photos will be delayed, I will send u guys once I got the photos from him.^^

Thank you so so much to Sotong for driving me up and down and letting me to sleep ~~beside you~~ over at ur house for a week.

GEO color contact lens series

Nothing personal, but more like an advertorial post, haha~

A good friend of mine, Jamie, is selling GEO colour contact lens, which is imported from Korea. I personally do not wear lens, not to mention colour ones, so I can't give any feedback nor reviews on this product.
But I'm sure that there are tonnes of reviews all over the internet, so just get rajin abit and Google.

GEO colour lens consist of 2 series of colours; the Angel and Nudy series. And below is the image of the lenses, which my friend had given me.

Each pair of lens can last for 1 year (err... Actually I'm quiet skeptical about this, huhu).

According to Jamie (my friend) she say the lens is sold at RM89.90 in Sunway Pyramid.
And now, she's selling 1 pair at RM55,
5 pairs at RM50 each (while you can mix with other series of lens).

All goods are sent by mail with charges applied. You've got to choose between Pos Laju at RM8 or Pos Express at RM4.

2nd job application

Errr.... continue from the previous post, I was back from Langkawi but I was too lazy to write anything about it :P

Still, the great times, haha. So when is the next trip? :P

And yeah, finally came back from KL (and burnt RM150 in total). Pfff.....

I was told this interview is the only 1 interview, with simple maths test, but it turn out to be something I-thought-I-knew.

I reached the office really early at 8AM where my interview is schedule at 10.30AM, waited til 10AM when the receptionist called the HR personnel.

So the interview, ehem.....

First, the maths test. It was okay~

2nd, the qualitative test - which much resembles essay writing test @_@

There are 3 question to be done in 40mins and the 1st question is some what funny - 5 other functions that I could think of in using sauce plate, beside serving food. And I've to write them in French.

2nd question which I am required to write 1-2 paragraph in Mandarin is something about brand management and strategy. And lastly, write about Malaysia and its people and comparison with Singapore. huhu.

I can't say I wrote a decent composition, but it wasn't too bad - average lor.

And then 2 ladies walked in, 1 director 1 HR manager. And we begin the interview. haha.

and my.... the session last 2 hours =.=

Talk until my stomach brr grrr brr grrr, and because of this, I've to talk louder to cover the noise from my stomach~

But the interview session was really nice, had a great experience by talking with my interviewers, we exchange views and had a great conversation and laugh quite alot too~

At the end of the interview, I was told to wait for their response for the 2nd interview after 2 weeks at least @_@

Thus, here I am, still jobless. LOL.

And so, few days back, my mum brought chicken rice back home.

I wanted to pour the chili into a bowl, and she offered her help and I say ok (while I was busy sweeping my room).

Few days ago I ordered Japanese bento delivery for dinner, and dad didn't like it as much as it seems. Here is a snippet of the conversation:

Dad: yappa yappa....u know ar... chinese food the best.... Jap food... duno hami lai.... yappa yappa blah blah blah...

Mum: *roll eyes*

Dad: We are chinese ler, why go eat Jap food.... blah blah... see my Koay Thew soup, authentic TeoChew/Chinese food!!!... Don't know why young ppl nowadays.....yappa yappa....

Tonki Bento delivery, Penang

Everyone in my family were kinda lazy to cook and even go out to buy dinner, so we decided to call for delivery from Tonki Bento Japanese restaurant.

For those who have no idea where is Tonki Bento, it is situated in Pulau Tikus nearby Kassim Mustafa mamak restaurant. And of'coz in Penang island larrr..... not Selangor, lol. There isn't a place call Pulau Tikus in Selangor also.

Anyways, haha... mum ordered unagi kabayaki set (photo below), come with salad, macaroni side dish, miso soup, rice and a decent portion of grilled eel. Consider cheap at the price of RM9.80 (I think).

I like the food from Tonki Bento mainly it's cheaper than alot of the Jap resturant in Penang, and the servings are always fresh!
And I don't want my salmon sashimi from a salmon which had died more than 2 weeks ago. Ewww...

And so I got myself sushi bento (RM13.80), comes with salad and sushi.

To my surprise, the sushi came slightly different from the menu description.
As stated in the menu, this sushi set comes with miso soup, 4 ebi furai maki (1 maki set), 1 unagi, 1 salmon, 1 ebiko and 1 tamago sushi. But instead of having tamago sushi, it is replaced with another unagi sushi O.o

So delighted, haha.... it would be a horror if the unagi sushi is replaced by tamago sushi thou =.="

And btw, the size of each sushi are triple the size of the normal sushi we eat =.=
I have to divide the sushi into 3 pieces to fit in my mouth ler~ haha. Hence the mess when I was eating ebiko sushi *swt*
The ebi furai.... each piece is the size of ...... 3-4 ice cubes? Can't recall any size of object which resembles the ebi maki, haha. But it's bigggg.
They even provide shoyo and wasabi too!

The only down-side is that they don't have many variety of sushi and noodles to choose with, and the menu is quite basic.
And oh, I personally prefer dine-in, because it seems they have slightly bigger serving in house :P

Recent happenings on me (time ordered);

Shitmyx took the love of my life 2 days ago.
I survived 2 days without my love.
Finally my love is back in my arms.
Found that many of my friends doesn't know I KNOW Mandarin ~~that well~~ (for **** sake, I am Chinese educated and I read alot of Chinese novels).
Tutoring 2 kids (my neighbours actually, lol).
Deleted a bunch of people (who I assume they never wanted to maintain friendship with me or give a damn to send a single regard to me) from my MSN list.
Tempted to watch 07-Ghost anime, and it was good (after watching the 1st episode).
Tried to sleep at 12AM but failed (further more at point 7)
And so, I guessed insomnia came knocking on my door (hence writing this post).
Talked with JonSern and Bakut in MSN.
Beg Bakut not to kill me because he wanted to cook for me T_T
Was reading news and found out Hilary Duff will be joining 'Gossip Girl' as Olivia Burke in the coming new season!!
Wondering if I should or should not regret deleting some 'friends' in MSN (hmmm....?).
And I'm hungry.... I should get smtg to eat :S

Job Hunt - Part 2

Recieved a call at 23rd June for an interview at 26rd June in KL.

Decide to pull off my attendence for YamYam Bday party at 25th night, and head off to KL on 25th morning.

And later I found out it was a mission impossible (refering to the interview), lol.

Probably with extra topping from the curse from YY becoz I chose job aka $$ over his b'day party?

But naahhh, I'm not that important *sobz*, the important 'friend' (who he very much cared about) went. huhu~ :P

Anyways, 1.5 day in KL, I had:

Burnt RM100 in total, including bus fare.

Annoyed KahHin and make him bring me to fix my phone :P (thank you so much).

Call YY and wish him Happy B'day with KH, but YY broked KH's heart because he couldn't reconise him.

Slept beside PeiFen and almost kiss each other at night *eeekkk*

Went for interview and got myself screwed and screwed the interview.

I don't think I prepared myself well... wait .. i rephrase,

I am ill-prepared, in fact :S

I was given maths and stats test, and God knows that I haven't been doing serious calculations after (or even before) I finish my degree @_@

And then there is critical analysis and case study and also presentation before 'small chit-chat'.

Actually, I feel like screaming and running out the door after finishing the stats test *LOL*

summore need case study and etc. Argh T_T

I swear I was staring at the question for 3mins, trying to make sense out of it, while trying hard to pull myself together.

I barely make it in the interview @_@

My head was floating in the air already, while I am merely half way throught out the whole process - which took me almost 3 hours.

I'm quite sure I had mental breakdown just after I thank the staff and step out the office, huhu.

I was quite overwhelm and worn out after 3 hours.

So, some how think I flunk the whole thing, haha.

Obviously I did not perform well (as in really good in presenting a confident prof personality),

so it's up to the company now to decide to give me a chance... or not??

Hey, I am a freshie with glossophobia, please give me a chance to learn T_T buwuwu~

Still, I have learned alot.

At least I have grasp the idea of the process of hiring/interviewing in Market research industry.

And I know what to prepare (maths and case study etc) for future interviews.

As I prepare and improve myself for future interviews. At the same time, crossing my fingers and hope for positive response from the company (althought I don't think I made it, haha).

And oh, I was told that the working hours are from 9AM to 8PM O.o

and most of them worked extra 2 hours OT, which means 9AM til 10PM *waaaaa*

But as long I'm allowed to use MSN, it's totally not a problem for me :P

Why Korean drama is never my choice

I watch alot of drama, besides Anime series too~

But still, there are few exceptions in picking drama series~ *I don't watch all, can die wei*

The drama which is my least favoured is mostly Malay drama series

(ehem... I guess everyone know why :P)

Plot and acting skills etc.

But don't get me wrong, if Yasmin Ahmad would direct one, I may be interested ;-)

*Because she is superb!*

Korean drama series would also be the least to watch in my list (2nd to Malay series),

and I think I've actualy shared my reasons with couple of friends

(friends from IBM and UTAR mostly).

Frankly speaking, I have only watched 蓝色生死恋, Full House and 大长今, and I think 蓝色生死恋 is the salient Korean drama series that stirred up the Kdrama wave (yes? no?).

Anyways *lol* Couple of days ago Nigahiga made a video about Asian drama,

which actually sums up almost my every reasons why I don't watch Korean drama.

So yea, it's smtg like A loves B and C loves B but B loves E and then B probably (or not?) get along with A and later SOMEONE DIES or be apart *lol*

Except for Full House and 大长今 and maybe other outstanding series I have never watch :)

*Because I tend to shut down all Kdramas since I have this 'Ching Ching *banggg*' mindset, haha.*

Job Hunt - Part 1

I am officially jobless for 5 weeks :P

*And being my parents' maid aka slave, doesn't count in as a job*

Anyways, I started job hunting this noon and I've submitted my resume to 3 companies today. Got 2 initial responses by them, confirming my status and reverting my application to different research teams.

Will be taking a break tomorrow and countinue my job hunt on Thursday :)

Til then, I will be crossing my fingers, hoping for Aptitude test/interview invitations within 2 weeks~^^

I was blog-surfing the other day and bumped into a really awesome blog by Jian Goh (Nickname - Akiraceo).
The layout of his blog with a really cute comic cat with 2 hamsters caught my initial attention. The cat (named Miao) is actually the virtual illustration of himself and 2 the hamsters, Wafu and Dafu are his pet hamsters. His blog mainly revolve around himself and his hamsters.

Aside the fact I am totally impressed by the creative and mirthful elements of his blog, his witty comic strips are actually the prominent element that makes this blog stands out from others. He claims that he is bad is writing, hence expressing himself thru comic strips.

About Blogging and DiGi’s ‘Love to Save’

Few days ago, a friend of mine say I love to write, after I told her my blog is updated.
Another friend of mine say I am always free to update my blog.
In fact, I don’t really like to write too much nor I have ample of spare time.

I blog because I don’t wanna repeat every update to every single person in MSN. Imagine if I have to repeat the same event to 20-30 people (for 20-30 times), it would be extremely time consuming. Subsequently, increased risk in breaking my fingers (joking).

By taking account of the ~~threats~~ reasons mentioned above, doesn’t it seems be to more rational and logical to blog? I can’t find what are the reasons not to blog :P

By the way, I was checking my blog’s statistic/referrals from Nuffnang the other day, and I found some people actually searched my blog thru internet by ‘panda bakut blogspot’. =.=”

I am really curious to know who’s he/she for being so ..ehem… brilliant. Please step out and identify yourself in the comment section below, lol.

Current plannings for my future

Alrighty, finally a post about the most recent update about my plannings after grad :P
As far as anyone is concerned, I'm not working now. However, I am now a slave to my parents, haha.

Anyways, I do not have any plans to pursue Master degree, been sick of studying since eons ago @_@
Another 3 reasons are, first, I wanted to gain working experience first before further studying the specific field, which I will be working through out my life :P
Secondly, there is a possibility of getting sponsored to study Master by the company I will be working at, hehe. 3rd, higher chances to get a better University too.

Regarding to my choice of career, I have set my goal to venture in to Market Research related positions. I am interested in consumer behavior and brand marketing management.
Altho some might recall I actually was an HR intern. I have to clarify that I am also interested in HR recruitment, just that kicking off my career in HR doesn't seems to be a bright choice.

After all, I am more determined to get into Market research industry, because I believe this provides better fundamental training in terms of essentials working skills for a fresh graduate :)
The companies I intended to apply are Nielsen, Synovate, TNS, and Research International. And all 4 companies are in KL/PJ, hence I will be moving back to Selangor.
Oh, this is just merely my target, I haven't call up the companies to enquire for vacancies, haha.
Hence this sums up what my plans are for my career.

Another update which is about my travel 'dream'. Due to various circumstances, such as $ issues and visa and etc. I am officially announcing another strike down T_T
There is nothing more to say on this matter.
Since I'm doomed to travel, and it's obvious I can't be adamant in pursuing my travel aspiration T_T
I guess I have face the reality and start writing my resume and call up the company in the coming week.

Now, we are in a transition towards real adulthood. Where we, as an ex-student are force to answer real life multiple choice question in several aspect of life. Not to mention, more responsibilities and NO more pocket money from parents :P

All the best to every Graduate friend of mine, in searching of a perfect job of interest, and all the best in winning what you want in life. Thou' we are heading towards different walks of life. May you achieve a life of sheer delight.^^

Breakfast with family

I assume that a lot of my friends know that for the past few weeks my bioclock is ~~slightly~~ messed up (more like screwed). And I've been making efforts in turning back to the normal and healthy-plus-supposed-to-be routine!

At last! I've finally gotten the grasp of time back (hyyyuuuu, thank err God?).
I slept at 12.30AM (yesterday) and got up at 6.30AM *yay*
Work out to keep me awake for the whole day without catching a wink! So I can get myself tired at 11PM and sleep :P
Anyways, so since I finally can see the dawn and my parents decided to have a family breakfast. If my memory serves me right, I think this is the 1st time in year 2009, whereby my family have the opportunity to have breakfast together in a local coffee shop (finally?).

YET! The drama never change! The episodes happened exactly just like the same old memories from the experience I have in previous years.

Episode 1 - In the car
Dad: ok so u know that day i went out with my friends and i ordered a drink which the waiter have no idea what I was ordering yappa yappa yada yada
Bro: dad it's time to change the gear
Dad: and so you know, I really thought it was pretty dumb of him for not knowing this drink yappa yappa yada yada...
Bro: DAD! are you even listening!?!
Dad: See! this is the education of my family, they interrupt whenever parents are talking...
Bro: your gear! you don't know how to drive!
*yea and this 'you don't know how to drive' statement definately pushes the button*
Dad: What are you saying!!?!? I've been driving for 40 years!
Bro: and yet still don't know how to drive!! and you will damange the car by doing so!!
Dad: This is my car! and my MONEY and I've every single rights to do to my car including damanging it! I PAY! NOT YOU!
Bro: There! This is the attitude I couldn't bear with!

Episode 2 - Arriving at destination and parking
ok, just to make it short, excerpt from Episode 1, but replace the 'you don't know how to drive' phrase to 'you don't know how to park a car'.
Period.

Episode 3 - Finding an empty table
Normally my mum would just stand aside while me, dad and bro search for an empty table.
When dad found the empty table;
Dad: There is a table!! THERE THERE THERE *pointing at far end*
*Unfortunately, all he did is just stood there and yelling there is an empty table*
For God sake, can't he just walk and sit there before letting other people to get the table? At least get to the table asap and show that the table is already occupied by him by putting a hand on top of the table while other hand is waving for us!
So normally I would rush to him and drag him to the table before anyone else occupy the empty table =.="

I'm just about to write about Episode 4 - Ordering the food, but I think I've got to much to rant on this episode, so I'll just save it up for future post, huhu. If I am still huffy about the event that took place this morning.

Anyways, went back home and continue working off my craps and schedules and got my hair trimmed (where some ~~interesting~~ incidents took place in the salon) in the afternoon.

That's all for now. Up next will be writing about my present plans for the my future/career. Since I have been bombarded with this question from a lot of people. Also many people do expect me to get a job immediately after graduation =.="

Tiring, yet contented

Ah, let me rant rant abit T_T
It's been around 12 days since I step foot in Penang.

And all the while I've been busying with my stuffs,
from banking to cleanings and err..... get abused by parents, lol *literally*
Everyone has been asking me why that I am so busy, I can't even hang out for a meal.
When I was asked what was I doing, I've got so many task flashing across my mind, too much and messy.
Hence unable to list out specifically what I've done, lol.

I replied: "err... you know that kinda busy, is like when you asked your mum why she's busy?"
Friend: "uhhh... yea"
Me: "yes, that's the type of busy I'm engage with"
Friend: "wtf?"

So yea, wtf....
It's also the first time ever, I've not been hanging out with my buddies more than 2 times, even after 12 days in Penang @_@
I've only met WinSern, Bobo and HuiTing :(
Contradictory to the holidays I have in the previous years, uhh... I went out like 7 times per week?

Not to mention my personal schedules are messy enough to be sort out, and other extraneous events keep cropping up unexpectedly, and my... it does interfere my own schedule in a enormous degree =.=
Stuffs like - my uncle admitted to ICU twice, and now he's showing symptoms of depression.
So, as the ONLY Psychology graduand in the large family of mine, I'm expected to ~~provide him counselling~~ ehem, talk him out from this.
So yea, talk about the pressure and burden I've now T_T
Seriously I need a break T_T

Still, although days have been kinda depressing *haha* and tiring~
I somehow feel contented, with all the busy schedules and hinders.
I'm a fully responsible person now, in my ptptn debts, in planning for my 1st career and financial supports~
With my 'leftover' money, I finally brought my medical insurance *fully supported by my own, yay*
And plan to return few installments of ptptn loan within 6 months time, so I need not to pay for the 3% interest.
Plans on my savings insurances or mutual funds - been eyeing on Public Bank mutual fund, huhu.

I am also determine to travel oversea before I work.
It seems that the Taiwan trip I've been bragging with my uni friends had 'blew off', haha.
Still I was so determined to go, I was even thinking to travel alone to Taiwan.
But an e-mail I got from my 3rd uncle in Canada - who is inviting me to get my masters in Canada, sparks off a change of my travel planning.
I decide to have a holiday trip to Canada in July for at least 3 weeks, to visit my relatives.
Why 3 weeks?
I have my 3rd uncle + family in Ottawa,
5th uncle + family and also my youngest aunt in Toronto,
and my youngest uncle in Vancouver!
So much talking and so much fun hor? And I haven't even call or e-mail my uncle about my plans! lol
But I guess they will be free to entertain my visit, since they are retirees. Hehe.
*But I know I should send an e-mail fast to confirm*
Things will be getting more fun, and busy after confirmation, haha.
I never know how to book a flight and whether I should get a direct flight and blahs (I will talk about it in my future post, haha)

Lastly, I am kinda frustrated with my current biological clock, lately.
For the past 1 week I haven't been able to get to sleep until 6AM.
And I'm really trying hard to turn it back to normal but failed, haha.
Except for yesterday~ I manage to work myself until I almost break down and manage to sleep at 11PM, but oh well.... I woke up at 3AM, eyes big big, couldn't get back into my dreams.
So here I am at 4AM, eating my breakfast.
Actually my stomach was groaning of hunger when I woke up, lol.

Anyways, this sums up most of what I have/am experiencing in Penang.
Really wish I could finish dealing with my personal issues and hang out with friends!

It's been quite sometime since the last post :P
Been really busy with my assignments, thesis and exams.
Thank God everything is over.^^

Life is really hectic for the past 4 months.
Rushing through the assignments, running to places for interviews, and conducting counselling sessions :P
Kudos to all my friends who have been helping me along this journey.^^
Thank you so much and I really appreciate the help. Especially in my thesis and counselling sessions.

Also, I got my thesis done and scored an A for my thesis!
Glad my tears and hard work never gone waste, haha.
Results were announced few days ago and I'm glad I manage to maintain my cgpa.^^

I also thought I could relax after exam, but I was soooo wrong @_@
In fact, I started to get really busy hanging out with uni friends and going for trips. And lastly packing my stuffs and head back to Penang.

I was constantly reminding myself of Pastor's bday, but I actually forgot to wish on the actual day @_@ Maybe I should put it in my mobile phone reminder or smtg, lol.

So this post literally sums up what I have been doing~ But it does not do any justice in showing how busy I am, lol.

Oh ya, btw, my 1st bday present is actually fake eyelashes implant (or smtg they call eye lash extension).
Making my eyes like barbie doll, and I am trying to destroy it by rubbing it everyday, lol.
I mean, it looks really good, althou fake, haha... it looks smtg like I am wearing make up with mascara, but it can last for 3 weeks and it's superrrr irritating @_@
Beauty comes with price, lol.
Additionally it does not suit me @_@

Have anyone seen smtg cute and the next moment the 'cute-thing' is destroying things and bullying ppl?

Stages of Drug use

Today, I would like to present a real life example/application from a subject - Substance Abuse, which I am taking this semester.

"Caffeine and its addiction"
*fyi - Caffeine is a type of drug*

Okay.

When I first started out drinking coffee, I had this:

Nescafe 3 in 1 regular.

Back then, the effects of caffeine was overwhelming.

Not long after than I started to build tolerance, and experience less coffee effects (being awake and etc). Thus I hit the bolder and stronger mixture:

Yeap, Nescafe 3 in 1 Rich.

And this is the part I started misusing coffee :P For different needs - need to be awake or concerntrate, aside need to fulfill gustatory satisfaction.

Before I knew, I started to abuse the drug - caffeine *LOL*
Amongst is by trying different types of coffee from the market :P

Thus developing dependence and even addiction (due to satisfy the love of the aroma of coffee).

Eventually, things just kinda get out of control, when this state went waaayyy beyond addiction/dependence:

I was having a random conversation with my housemate yesterday, when....

CY: I don't drink coffee during weekends
Panda: why?
CY: I had too much during weekdays in office
Panda: ohh... but wait, you drank mocha just now @_@
CY: yea, why?
Panda: mocha is a type of coffee
CY: NO WAY, mocha is chocolate!!!
Panda: wtf, mocha is chocolate?? nooo, mocha is chocolate and coffee!!
CY: nooOoOOo *starting to freak out* where's the proof!!?!?
Panda: check the ingredients, naaa *pointing out 'instant coffee' at the packaging*
CY: ..........*in the state of shock*.............

Totally unbelievable, LOL. I never thought there is a person who drinks mocha without knowing it is actually a coffee beverage~

Anyways, I was subscribing to Pastor's blog 1-2 weeks ago when this notice appears

In the constant moment, a thought flashes through my mind; and I feel like a stalker *lol*
I am now following yikoko...... *pukes*

And oh, referring to Pastor's post, he mentioned the question "blood is thicker than water but what is thicker than blood?" I don't know the reason behind for him to ask this, maybe he got from drama series?
But this phrase reminds me of Chris Crocker (the guy who is popular in Youtube who became really famous after shooting a video blog - leave Britney alone).

Anyways, my hectic days are gone.... assignments are done *yay* and I've submited my thesis *double yay for the end of my 1 year sufferings* Thanks to every individual who had assisted me along the process :)

And oh ya, I was reading WS's blog just now when I saw the recent photo of Pastor, and was like holly cow, he looks like he had locked himself up and starve for a month~ he looks more like a patient than me, LOL. *take care lar, dun memper-hantu-kan urself to scare me*

Shame in public

I can't sleep *lol*

Probably I was starving... or maybe I am too excited because I will be submitting my thesis later, and end my sufferings...err partially.

But something kinda bothers me quite to an extend nowadays, and I would like to rant abt it at this middle of the night :P

You see, I was having an minor asthma attack few days ago, while I was nearby my uni.

And I was suffering, coz I don't have the inhaler and it really hurts alot, and I cried~

I cried because it hurts and I am worried what I have to do if the symptoms continue, without the inhaler... so there goes the drama and blah~

*Enough said* and so the thing is after the whole asthma attack experience,

my classmate who was following along with me said "你这好丢脸哦~"

yea yea, I was having asthma attack and all you did and just stand there and later say I am bringing shame to myself in the public.

Ahh... the kaleidoscopic world of humanity....

and I always get amused... by jerks =.="

Actually her statement hurts, but life still goes on.... and i'm lucky that i'm still alive after this incident =.="

I have literally abandon my blog for .... 1 month?

Sorry peeps, life is just soooo busy and stressful for a final sem student :P

*neh neh see pastor and meekuu, they r not blogging for some time also* LOL

Anyways, for the past few weeks, I have been doing assignments and thesis,

and I will be submitting my thesis on this coming Monday and the last assignment will be also dued next week.^^ *phewww*

So by next weekend, I will be assignment-free!!! *weeeeee*

Still, I have presentations and err.. finals coming along T_T

But at least I'll have 1 week stress-free-final-semester-student life :P

Next thing I wanna say is .....*drums roll*

SE W705 is officially releaseddddddd~!!

Moi dream phone!!! *screams*

I have been waiting for this model since their announcement last year, to replace my old and almost broken likes-to-blackout-camera-spoiled SE w700i *hmpf*

Now, the moo-lah issue - w705 cost RM1200 (the cheapest quotation i got, from ss2).

And I've just spent RM65 to bind my thesis with hardcover, and I will be spending RM150 on doctor.

I am so broke now T__T

So I guess I will eat less .......expensive food (hey, not eating less lah, wan me to strave to death izzit?) and cook more at home (healthier also, since my health is going downhill).

So, to all final semester students, add oil add oil~ 1 month later we will be freeeeee~!

I will try to blog after submiting my assignments, and hopefully I can buy my new mobile within 2 weeks, so I can post photos and motivate myself to write more interesting post :P

So do many of my final year friends, haha~

I see YamYam and MeeKuu putting MSN's personal msg - moaning about assignments and studies,

where Pastor wrote Mandarin in his pm - shows that he betul betul sot liao? (No pun intended!! :P)

Anyways, beside assignments and stuffs, I have been hanging out with close uni friends

(last sem d, sure must hang out even I'd flunk my subjects ....err... maybe not :P).

Went to watch a late movie with Fang and Sotong few days ago, titled The Curious Case of Benjamin Button~

It was superb, love the story and humorous scenes, there are also some really sophisticated messages to ponder at~

The pace of the movie is quite alright, although Sotong say it's abit slow~

Few nights later, me and Fang 'wat' AhKong to treat us move - Valkyrie, he paid and we ran :P

Serve him right to use my Fang to drive him!!

And I finally gotta eat my fav. beef spaghetti, weee!! but AhKong and Fang had a terrible meal, haha~

Besides movies and assignments, there are alot of on going random things here and there, such as...er.... a friend of mine said I look like a puppy =.= (it's ehem... Jamie...ehem... Ng...ehem ehem), and due to some technical complications or wat so ever reason, the washing machine I brought in pet society was GONE, wtf, I brought that for 3k coins!! I WANT MY WASHING MACHINE BACK!!! and I lost RM50 in real life =.=" *sigh* I also want my RM50 back T_T

I also went to 10 5 night (translate urself :P) event at Taman Paramount, took some photos and also watched Fang throwing mandarine fanatically =.="

I also see a bunch of gay lous throwing oranges and banana too! *LOL* Good luck for the people outside who is scooping up~ becoz you may end up calling a homosexual guy :P

And then the good news is that I won a scholarship which I've applied last year, bad news is that my mum lazy to attend the ceremony last Saturday, so til now I still don't have the money, not even knowing the sum I got *lol* but my mum said she's gonna get it this week, so I will cross my fingers and hope the scholarship worth er... more than RM50, haha~

Starting off a New Chapter

Alright, I have been bragging to write a blog again and again,

and I thought 1st Feb 2009 seems like a good time to kick off a new blog with a new blog address.

I do remember I stopped blogging because I was extremely busy :S
